Hi, I’m Andrew Kemp — founder of Headstart Systems. I’m a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK) with a PhD in Education from the University of Adelaide, and an MA(IT in Ed) from Wollongong University. I’ve spent the past nine years as a learning designer in the Australian higher education sector. I love empowering educators and learners, and I focus on intuitive and effective design.

I started Headstart Systems to create engaging learning tools — ones that genuinely support independent, authentic learning and cognitive engagement. I’m a creative thinker with a deep belief in the power of good learning design to unlock potential, not just deliver content.
